The Senior Specialist, Business Solutions manages various premium product partnerships and is a key contributor to the identification, vetting, development, implementation, sales, delivery, and strategic direction for existing and new products. The Senior Specialist manages the entire life cycle of partner relationships, including supporting contracting processes; implementing and launching new products; collaborating with Marketing to identify and implement brand, ecommerce and promotional strategies that increase revenue; and analyzing sales and campaign performance data. The position also serves as the department’s lead for marketing activities.
Position Description
Business Development
Conduct research to Evaluate the HR vendor landscape and trends, understand current and target market needs, and identify new opportunities to increase sales.
Screen prospective business deals by analyzing market demand, competition, deal requirements, and financials.
Build business relationships with prospective partners, estimating partners’ needs and goals.
Partner & Product Management
Develop, execute, and manage detailed plans and timelines for products and programs.
Manage relationships with current partners to meet financial objectives and contractual obligations, including communications, marketing, reporting, and invoicing.
Manage revenue and expenses and identify opportunities to increase profitability or efficiency for assigned partnerships.
Work with product management, marketing, and creative to create and update content for assigned products.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide guidance, information, support, and training required to promote and sell new products and programs.
Support team in maintaining the eCommerce website for quality assurance and adherence with industry best practices.
Marketing & Analytics
Serve as the team marketing lead with the goal of generating gross revenue for the portfolio of products offerings. Includes providing feedback on proposed marketing opportunities, messaging direction, copy and creative and managing marketing requests for the product portfolio.
Use business intelligence tools to analyze data, forecast revenue, determine ROI, and optimize performance.
Analyze web engagement and digital marketing data to develop actionable insights and recommendations for the business.
Propose and execute tactics to market premium products through available vehicles such as internal and external emails, display and ROS advertising, Twitter, LinkedIn, print mailings and additional promotional opportunities.
Develop new marketing strategies leveraging insights from business analytics and SHRM assets (e.g., market segments, customer personas and journey maps).
Work cross-functionally to optimize marketing and business intelligence processes.

Position Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field or commensurate experience in lieu of degree
Five (5) years of experience managing eCommerce marketplaces and/or experience in digital business development or product management; or eight (8) years of professional experience in lieu of degree
Email marketing, database marketing and list management
Marketing automation software
Experience with ecommerce and CRM software platforms, such as NetSuite and Salesforce
Reporting on and analyzing data using business intelligence tools
Using data to tell stories through reports and presentations
Partner and relationship management
Demonstrated success growing revenue by forming and nurturing eCommerce relationships, and by leveraging marketing techniques is preferred
Project management, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements in differing stages of the sales cycle
Analytics skills, including critical thinking and problem solving
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
Proficiency with business intelligence and data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau
Strong verbal and written communication skills, confident and articulate communicator to effectively convey messages to all stakeholders
Organizational and project management skills, including time management, attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization
Relationship building and management skills
Digital analytics, marketing, research and analysis, and reporting
General business acumen, with demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions
Preferred
Knowledge of the eCommerce space, including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends
Working knowledge of web development and enabling technologies
Advanced proficiency in data analytics
Business development and finance knowledge
Experience in the HRM or HR technology space
Experience writing HMTL code
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.
Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Work Environment
Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Travel Required: Occasional 0-10%
The hiring range for this position is $83,000 to $108,000 per year. This range is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
